Pablo Fernandez
Building the substrate for sovereign agents.
I build infrastructure that enables rather than controls. Systems where the user holds the keys, the data, and the exit.
Right now, that means:
- TENEX — multi-agent orchestration over nostr. AI that coordinates without platforms.
- NDK — the development kit for building on nostr. Foundation for most modern clients.
- nsecBunker — remote key signing and delegation. Keys stay on hardware you control.
- Zapstore — permissionless app distribution. Install software without gatekeepers.
- Blossom — distributed blob storage. Your media, your servers.
- nsite — publish websites to the protocol, not platforms.
- mcp-money — MCP server for agent payments. Machines that transact.
Why
Software ate the world, but platforms ate software. Every interaction now routes through systems designed to extract, surveil, and control.
There's another way. Protocols over platforms. Cryptographic identity over institutional trust. Money that moves without permission. Infrastructure that serves its users because it has no choice.
That's what sovereign technology means. Not isolation—coordination without coercion.
How
I run Sovereign Engineering with Gigi—a cohort program in Madeira for people building this future. Six weeks of shipping, not talking.
Gigi and I also host No Solutions, a podcast about hard problems in sovereign tech. No easy answers.
NIPs
13 Nostr Implementation Possibilities merged. Protocols that define how clients interoperate:
- NIP-90 — Data Vending Machines. Compute marketplaces over nostr.
- NIP-89 — Recommended Application Handlers. Discovery layer for nostr apps.
- NIP-84 — Highlights. Social annotations for long-form content.
- NIP-60/61 — Cashu Wallet + Nutzaps. Native ecash on nostr.
- NIP-88 — Recurring Subscriptions. Sustainable creator revenue.
